Quincy Democratic and Republican City Committees
To Host Quincy Candidates Night

QUINCY, MA - The Quincy Democratic and Republican City Committees will host a City-Wide Candidates Night on Thursday, October 26th.  The forum will take place at the Lloyd Hill Performing Arts Center at Quincy High School.  The program will run from 6:45pm to 9:00pm.

“In the spirit of cooperation with the Republican City Committee we are co-hosting this forum.  Our desire is to provide the citizens of Quincy an opportunity to hear directly from the individuals who wish to and do represent them on the City Council and School Committee,” said Alicia Gardner, Chair of the Quincy Democratic City Committee.

“The City of Quincy elections are non-partisan, whether you are a Republican or a Democrat; as a resident this election means a great deal as whom we have represent our city.  Election Day is Tuesday, November 7th, and I believe that the residents that attend this forum will come away with a good understanding of each of the candidates as they prepare to vote,” said John Iredale, Chair of the Quincy Republican City Committee.

All Ward Councillor, Councillor at Large and School Committee candidates have all been asked to participate in a moderated questions and answer style format.

Quincy Access Television will be taping the event. Check www.qatv.org for broadcast times.
