Martin Luther King, Jr. Day of Service

Thank You, for those that made the on-line donations for our day of service. We had to changes a few things because of the snow storm.

The QDCC held an eighth annual Day of Service in observance of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day the online donations but we moved the Drop off Food Drive to Saturday, January 25, 2025.

This year, the QDCC, together with the Democratic committees for each of Quincy’s six wards, are collecting food donations and raise funds for Quincy’s food banks.

We ask the public to think about helping our neighbors,

with the cost of thing going up some of our neighbors need a little help this winter.

UPDATE: new date, time, and location for the food drive due to inclement weather

NEW DATE AND TIME: Saturday, January 25, 2025, 10am-2pm

NEW LOCATION: Central Middle School parking lot

The online donation pages will contiue to accept you donations.

On-line donations give the Food Pantries, funds to purchase food from the Boston Food Bank at low prices.
