On Saturday April 13, Quincy Wards 1-6 Democratic committee members elected on the March 5 Presidential Primary ballot will meet for the first time as a new committee to sit their newly elected members and elect their officers. The ward committees will then sit to elect the citywide committee officers.
In addition to the elections, area Democratic candidates and electeds will have the opportunity to speak to the committees and collect signatures to get on the September primary ballot.
The reorg meeting will be hybrid via Zoom or in person at Quincy High School cafeteria, 100 Coddington St. Doors open at 9:00 am, with speakers beginning at 9:30 am and committee elections starting at 10:30 am.
All are welcome, although only ward committee members can vote in the elections. Reach out to your ward chairs for more information about any openings on ward committees.
