On Tuesday,  March 13, 2018 at 6:00 p.m. at Alba restaurant, there will a fundraiser to benefit the victims of last week’s devastating storm.

Restaurateur Leo Keka will host the fundraiser at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, March 13, at his Alba restaurant, 1486 Hancock St., in Quincy Center.

Checks can be made payable to the “Quincy Storm Relief Fund” and mailed c/o Eastern Bank, 34 Chapman Street, Quincy, MA 02170.  Monetary donations will also be accepted at the door of the event.

According to the announcement by Mayor Thomas Koch and Ward 1 City Councillor David McCarthy, "A local non-profit organization will be designated to administer the fund, and all proceeds will benefit residents severely impacted by flood damage caused by the weekend storm."
