This Saturday morning, March 10, 2018 from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., there's a signature drive! About 20 to 30 volunteers are needed to collect signatures. The goal is to obtain 800 to 1000 signatures for the re-election of Attorney General Maura Healey and State Treasurer Debbie Goldberg.
Volunteers will be stationed at designated public areas such as the Home Depot, Stop and Shop, Wal-Mart, Thomas Crane Library area, Presidents Place. Volunteers are requested to sign up for a two-hour time slot, but if one hour works for you, that's fine! Please sign up for a time slot here.
The “Meet-up” for the drive and signature sheet drop off is at Stop and Shop at 65 Newport Avenue, Quincy, MA 02171. There's a community center room on the second floor of Stop and Shop. Please plan to arrive by 8:45 am if you volunteered for the 9:00 am time slot.
Please contact Tracy Brown at 617-842-5239 or Sheika Babin at 617-302-4084 if you have any questions or need more information about the drive.
FYI, in order for Attorney General Healey to run for re-election, she needs to obtain 10,000 signatures of registered voters by May 8, 2018 to place her names on the primary ballot.
In order for Treasurer Goldberg to run for re-election, she needs to obtain 5,000 signatures of registered voters by May 8, 2018 to place her name on the primary ballot.
Please help out if you can!
